Hispanic Professionals from around the Gulf Coast gathered at The Battle House Hotel in Downtown Mobile for the First Annual Meeting of the Hispanic American Business Association of the Gulf Coast.
The sold out event gave professionals with Hispanic backgrounds a chance to network and socialize with other Latinos.
HABA honored Golden Stevedoring, a family enterprise founded by two brothers, Roger Gonzalez and Edgard Gonazalez along with their wives Luisa and Norma.
HABA also honored Providence Hospital for its outreach program, The Guadalupe Center.
Money raised tonight will help fund scholarships and support literacy programs.
WKRG News 5's Rose Ann Haven also celebrated her hispanic heritage by serving as mistress of ceremonies.
