A Baldwin County deputy coroner confirms that at least one man is dead after investigators find a car submerged in water near the Mobile Bay Ferry pier dock off Fort Morgan Road.
A vacationer discovered the car in the water around 7 Sunday morning. Investigators do not know if the man was the only one in the car or how it got there.
The deputy coroner says the incident happened anytime between 9 o'clock Saturday night and 7 o'clock Sunday morning.
The Mobile Bay Ferry has suspended operations until the vehicle has been removed.
