A LeFlore football player underwent emergency
brain surgery after suffering a concussion near the end of the
Rattlers' victory over Spanish Fort.
LeFlore coach Chris Raymond told the Press-Register newspaper
that linebacker Timothy Robinson was still at Mobile Infirmary
Saturday morning in stable but critical condition.
Raymond said Robinson was initially alert after the head-on
collision and complained of a headache before losing consciousness.
He was taken off the field in an ambulance and underwent
emergency surgery to relieve swelling of the brain.
