A murder suspect is still on the run, considered armed and dangerous. The Escambia County, Alabama Sheriff says they first started investigating Bruce Day back in 2001 for attempted murder. But, the sheriff says the victim in the case, Woodrow "Token" Allen mysteriously disappeared before trial. Day was convicted of a lesser charge and sentenced to one year in jail. Now, the sheriff says they have reason to believe Day murdered Allen, "if we're correct and he's already murdered one person for being willing to testify against him, what does he got to lose if he has to shoot someone else," said Escambia County Sheriff, Grover Smith. Day had been working in Pensacola. Federal and local authorities tried to pick him up on the murder charge Tuesday. But, they believe he was tipped off and made a run for it. A manhunt put a local college campus on lockdown for hours but Day got away. Authorities say if you see Day, do not approach him, instead call 911.
