There's a buzz in Robertsdale today. The annual honey bee festival flew into hub city 10/3/09. The event started with a parade featuring classic-old-time tractors. Dozens of people lined Highway 59 for a piece of the action. Organizers say they've been doing this festival to get kids interested in bee keeping.
“Cause the bees is a very important thing to the whole world every third bite of food you take you wouldn't have it weren't for bees,” says Beekeeper Rex Aldridge. This is the 20th year for the honey bee festival. Live music and food vendors were part of the event.
