Golfing great Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a one car accident early Friday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Woods had just pulled out of his driveway a little before 2:30 in the morning when he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree
while driving his 2009 Cadillac Escalade.

Woods was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee where reports say he was in serious condition, but late this evening it's reported a local official says that Woods was treated for facial lacerations and released from the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending. The police report does say alcohol was NOT involved.
