In less than a month, the Mobile County Health Department has administered close to 10,000 shots!

Right now, they are working on the honor system but only giving the H1N1 vaccine to those in the high-risk category.

High-Risk
* Pregnant
* People who live or care for infants under 6 months old
* Health care and emergency medical personnel
* Anyone 6 months through 24 years old
* Anyone 25-64 with chronic medical condition or a weakened immune system

Health department officials expect the vaccine to be in better supply by the New Year. By that time, anyone interested in getting vaccinated should be able to get the swine flu shot.
