Man Burned In Suspected Meth Explosion

The Baldwin County Drug Task Force found evidence of a meth lab at the home of Tony Mitchell of Seminole, Alabama shortly after a fire and explosion at the trailer.

The explosion happened around 10:00 Wednesday night on Mitchell Lane.

Mitchell was flown to the USA Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators with the Drug Task Force say they found evidence of a meth lab, along with methamphetamine residue.

According to the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, this is the second explosion and fire at the residence in the past 6 months.

Right now, Mitchell has not been charged, but investigators say they expect to file several charges in this case.
