3 Suspects Accused Of Raping Teens

A 14-year-old girl had to be hospitalized after police say she was raped by two teenagers and a man. The Monroeville Police Chief tells us two 14-year-old girls were picked up Monday near Monroe County High School by the three suspects. They were then taken to a home on Lamar Avenue in the Clausell Community where the chief says both girls were raped by the suspects, who are ages 16,17, and 20, "one of the young ladies did sustain some pretty serious injuries that, which, led her being transferred from Monroe County Hospital to Mobile area hospital with what have been termed as internal injuries," said Monroeville Police Chief Rudolph Munnerlyn. The suspects are charged as adults, but authorities are not releasing their names at this time because of their ages. The Chief also says right now the suspects are only charged with raping one of the girls. But, he expects they will be charged soon with the other victim's rape.
