Staff and residents at the John McLure Snook Memory Care Community in Spanish Fort held a candlelight vigil tonight, 11/15/09. The event was to raise awareness of the disease. Officials at the care community say Alzheimer's is the seventh leading cause of death in the country. They say vigils like this help educate people on the challenges of the disease.
