It was a day too windy to fish, but not too windy for a protest. Dozens of fishermen took to their boats at Perdido Pass. They want to send a message. The say the NMFS is not getting accurate data on the red snapper population. Fishermen say the gulf is teaming with them, but NMFS isn’t getting its population data from fishermen. They say a short season is hurting their business and hurting recreational fishermen too. The full story is up now.
