Carjacking, Robbery Suspect Arrested

Mobile Police believe 17 year old Charles Braggs hit a woman in the head with a rifle while carjacking her.

A robbery and carjacking suspect has been arrested and charged with 2 counts of robbery and 1 count of assault.
Mobile Police believe 17-year old Charles Braggs is the suspect who confronted a woman outside the Forrest Hill Church on Moffett Road last Sunday night.
The victim says she was approached by a man armed with a rifle who demanded her car keys.
She says she threw the keys to the ground. That's when, she says, the suspect struck her in the head with the butt of the rifle, knocking her down.
He then got away in her Blue Dodge Durango.
Wednesday night, Prichard Police located the stolen Durango at Jessie and Collins Streets.
Braggs was indeitifed as a suspect and taken into custody.
A .22 rifle was found inside the stolen vehicle.
Police also believe Braggs is responsible for the holdup of the Pizza Hut on Moffett Road on October 22nd. In that incident, a man robbed the cash register, armed with a handgun.
Witnesses say he had a white t-short wrapped around his head and was wearing Girbaud jeans.
