Matt Boykin Walker, the man accused of being the ringleader in a high dollar antique heist, was back in Mobile Metro jail.

Walker turned himself in and bonded back out on a fourth charge of receiving stolen property. Detectives can't place him at the burglaries but tell us they found many of the stolen antiques at Walker's properties on Jeff Hamilton Road and Rochester Road in West Mobile.

Investigators say a handful of wealthy families have reported heirlooms missing in Mobile and on the Eastern Shore. Walker would reportedly talk his way into the homes by acting as if he was interested in purchasing the house.

When the homeowners were out of town, someone would burglarize and take their antiques.

A rough estimate of the items recovered is 750,000 dollars including silver that was once presented to then Senator John F. Kennedy from President Dwight Eisenhower.

According to online court records, Walker waived his arraignment hearing set for Thursday. He's due back in court for a preliminary hearing in two weeks. We tried getting comment from his attorney Buzz Jordan but he didn't return our calls.
