Eric Buzbee says he's embracing life again and trying to adjust to freedom.

"Everything's changed," says Buzbee. "The people have changed, the community's changed."

Accused of capital murder and incarcerated for nearly two years, Buzbee says the nightmare was finally over Friday when a Baldwin County jury found him not guilty in the death of Spanish Fort gas station owner Bobby Wilson.

"It was an instant relief," says Buzbee. "I knew I was a free man, I knew before the verdict was read I was a free man, I just didn't know when that day was coming."

After the verdict, Baldwin County District Attorney Judy Newcomb told reporters Buzbee got away with murder.

"We're not re-opening the investigation," said Newcomb. "We have no evidence to indicate that anyone else was involved but him."

A statement Buzbee has a hard time swallowing.

"I hate that Ms. Newcomb feels she has the right man because she didn't. I'd like to see the real killer brought in for this. Ms. Wilson needs some justice and I personally want to see it...I really do."
