LOS ANGELES (AP) - Music producer Phil Spector will find out his
sentence today. He was convicted of shooting and killing actress
Lana Clarkson at his home outside Los Angeles in 2003. The murder
conviction has a mandatory sentence of 15 years to life. He may get
additional time in prison based on a gun charge. Spector's lawyers
also plan to appeal his conviction. Spector was famous for his
"Wall of Sound" production on songs by The Ronettes, The
Righteous Brothers and The Beatles.
