The man who Mobile police say held his wife hostage at a storage facility is out on bond. John Rollins was released from Mobile Metro Jail after posting $153,500 bond.
According to police, Rollins walked into the First American Storage on Magnolia Road May 13, armed with a shotgun, and started arguing with his wife. Rollins fired two shots, hit his wife in the face with the shotgun and then locked her and himself in a bathroom.
Rollins surrendered peacefully about an hour later.
