A Fairhope High School senior is spending "Senior Day" in the hospital after he was run over by a tractor.
State Troopers say 18-year-old John Johnson and several friends rode a John Deere tractor to school Friday morning. They stopped at the intersection of County Road 13 and County Road 32. When the tractor began moving again, Johnson fell off and was run over by one of the tires.
Johnson was flown to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola for “significant, but non-life threatening injuries."
