WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) - Charges will probably be dismissed against the suburban New York City mother who ordered her bickering
daughters out of her car and drove off without them.
White Plains City Judge Eric Press on Thursday adjourned the child-endangerment case against 45-year-old Madlyn Primoff.
The judge has agreed to dismiss the charge if Primoff stays out of trouble for six months.
Primoff said after her court appearance that "clearly I made a mistake."
She was arrested last month after a passer-by found her 10-year-old daughter upset on a White Plains street. Primoff also
has a 12-year-old daughter.
Primoff's lawyer says she drove around the block expecting to pick the girls up but couldn't find them.
