"Beatles" Bus Coming To Baldwin County

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is coming to Baldwin County.

The bus is a non-profit traveling audio and video digital studio that provides students with hands-on experience in music, video and digital photography. The idea is to encourage middle, high school and college students to play music, write songs, engineer recording sessions and produce video projects.

“Everybody has an inner star,” says LuLu’s owner Lucy Buffett, “and this brings top-notch studio exposure to our next generation of talent.”

On May 17, LuLu’s Homeport Marina in Gulf Shores will host free tours of the Lennon Bus at the restaurant from Noon-6 p.m. The bus hits the road and heads to Fairhope High School on May 18 and Robertsdale High School on May 19. It returns to LuLu’s at 7:30 pm on the 19th, where the crew will premiere music videos recorded by Fairhope and Robertsdale High students.
