Two brothers are accused of trying to stuff their disabled father into the trunk of a car at gunpoint and police say it was in retaliation for what their father reportedly did to their mother. Thomas and Royce Fairley have been charged with aggravated domestic assault. It happened Monday in the parking lot of Ocean Springs Hospital. Their father, Steverson Fairley, was out on bond at the time, charged with shooting and wounding their mother, Gloria Fairley, "quite complicated. Its seems where's the end to the, you know, the violence. And, it just keeps escalating to a point where, you know, unless someone stops and lets the law do its job then, you know, it's going to result very badly," said Ocean Springs Police Detective, Lt. John Flowers. The George County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting that happened last month in Lucedale. They say Steverson Fairley is also accused of trying to run over his son, Royce. The Sheriff's Office says Royce shot his father during that incident, but wasn't charged. That case will go to the grand jury.
