MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Flood warnings have been posted for
river systems across Alabama.
The National Weather Service said a storm system early Thursday
dumped at least several inches of rain.
Flood warnings have been issued for the following waterways:
Black Warrior, Tombigbee, Sucarnoochie, Fish, Flint, Perdido and
Paint Rock river basins. Also included is Big Nance Creek at
Courtland.
A flood warning means that flooding is occurring or imminent.
Remember, never drive your vehicle into areas where water covers
the roadway.
