A Panama City fishing captain was sentenced to two years in prison after admitting he threw pipe bombs at dolphins to frighten them from his fishing lines.

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - A Panama City fishing captain was
sentenced to two years in prison after admitting he threw pipe
bombs at dolphins to frighten them from his fishing lines.
Federal Judge Richard Smoak sentenced 50-year-old Garry Alvin
Key on Wednesday. Key had pleaded guilty to possession of
explosives by a convicted felon and unlawful taking of marine
mammals.
Investigators from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation
Commission and various federal agencies arrested Key last year
after searching his boat.
