CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) - Two astronauts are getting ready to
go out on a spacewalk and do some chores at the international space
station.
Astronauts Steven Swanson and Joseph Acaba are scheduled to
float out of the linked space station and shuttle on Saturday
afternoon.
Their work will take them to the far end of the space station's
framework. There could be some induced electrical voltage there,
but NASA officials say the risk is small and well within acceptable
limits.
This is the second spacewalk during shuttle Discovery's mission.
On Thursday, spacewalkers helped install the last set of solar
wings to the station to bring it up to full power.
The panels were successfully opened Friday.
