The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has arrested two Crestview residents in connection with a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory being operated out of their trailer at the Roberts Mobile Home Park, 1649 James Lee Boulevard, Lot #2.
32-year old Michael Will Batson is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine in excess of 28 grams, conspiracy to traffic in methamphetamine, and child endangerment without great bodily harm.
26-year old Patricia Christina Bass is charged with possession of methamphetamine and child endangerment without great bodily harm.
Investigators received information March 17th that methamphetamine was being manufactured inside the trailer. The Sheriff's Office was able to establish probable cause and a search warrant was executed later in the day by the Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force. Investigators seized drug paraphernalia and approximately 112 grams of suspected meth oil, as well as numerous dangerous chemicals which create a chemical hazard. Investigators say the drugs and chemicals were within easy reach of three small children who had been inside.
