The Irvington father accused of tossing his four kids off the Dauphin Island Bridge has changed his plea.
Last week, Lam Luong wrote a letter to the judge telling him he is guilty and wants the death penalty. Now, he's changed his plea back to not guilty. Luong is accused of capital murder for the unthinkable crime that happened in January 2008.
Since Monday, lawyers have been sifting through questionnaires to pick a jury for the capital murder case. The state is confident that a 15-panel jury will be ready to hear the case by the end of the week.
After Luong's plea change, his lawyers quickly asked to renew their change of venue request and to delay the trial. So far, the judge has denied those requests.
