Blue Angel's Artifacts Going Home

She discovered his belongings along a Baldwin County beach fifty years after his aircraft went down in the Florida peninsula. Now, a Fort Morgan woman is reaching out to a fallen Blue Angel pilot's widow.

Debbie Harris placed a call to Nikki Sue Glascow today. The 87 year old is living in Newport Beach, California. Harris found Glascow's husband's Navy squadron emblem and his dog tags near Fort Morgan, just a few months apart.
She says it felt only right to try and find Commander Robert Glascow's family and return them.
"I had always heard about the crash all my life. But I always felt the connection you know and I felt like if it was me, I would appreciate someone contacting me,"Said Harris.

Debbie Harris and her family plan to travel to California within the next year to return Glascow's belongings and meet his family.
