The counterfeit cop is getting bolder. Mobile police say he struck again Saturday, two days after his picture was plastered all over TV and newspapers.

According to police, Eric Odom knocked on an 80-year-old woman's door around 12:15 p.m., showed her a badge and asked to see any guns or currency she kept in the home.

The elderly victim showed Odom where she kept what police call a large amount of cash. Odom said he was taking it downtown so the serial numbers could be checked.

Odom and two other men are also wanted for a similar crime on February 9. They stole money and a gun from an elderly woman's home in the Maysville community.

Police believe Odom is staying in motels around Mobile and Baldwin counties. If you see him, call police at 251.208.7211.
