Mobile fishermen get a chance to meet a pro. Academy Sports and Outdoors hosted professional angler Monte Knight, Saturday, June 27th. The pro-fisherman talked to fans and signed autographs. He says it's challenging to become a pro. Knight says special gear and knowing the right spot don't make a difference if you aren't willing to adapt.
“Have the ability to adjust to varieties on the water, watching conditions because every day changes an angler that can adjust to day to day conditions is the one that can win the tournament,” says Monte Knight. Knight says he loves fishing. He says it's a passion he's had for years.
