Do you wonder what ever happened to Silver Queen Corn? According to Dennis Young, one of the owners of Burris Farm Market in Loxely, it has been replaced with a bigger, sweeter, and creamier crop of Silver King. He says every year, farmers tweak the crop to make it better than the year before.
Young offers some great tips on the best way to cook it. Have you ever put an ear of corn in the husk, in the microwave? He says nuke it for two minutes, and it tastes delicious!
