The Mobile County Sheriff's Office has identified a victim whose body was found on a dirt road in North Mobile County.
Jermaine Pettway, 22, was discovered by a man walking in the area around 8:20 last night.
Pettway's body, which was lying face down covered by a piece of butcher paper, was found on a secluded road off Highway 158 near Kushla McLeod Road. Investigators believe he was killed somewhere else, then dumped in the area over the weekend.
Pettway was reported missing on Sunday by his mother, who also told detectives his 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis was missing too. Investigators are on the lookout for the car, which is tan with an Eight Mile Automotive dealership tag.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.
