Sharing Memories Of "The King"

If you have a personal story about Elvis Presley... Graceland wants to hear from you!

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Have a personal Elvis Presley story to tell - and no, we aren't talking about recent sightings. If you do,
the people at Graceland want to hear it. They are collecting stories of people who have had contact with Elvis over the years -
and the results will be assembled into an oral history called the Elvis Presley Legacy Project.

One example is the story of John "Bull" Bramlett, who played touch football with Presley in the 1950s. Bramlett went on to play professional football - but he
notes that Presley, well, let's just say, made the better choice by going into show business. Bramlett says while Elvis was a "great
guy," he was only "an average athlete" who he says "kind of ran like a girl.

The stories are being videotaped and will become part of the Graceland archives.
