Man Shot In The Face

Investigators have charged 17-year old Ellis J. McArthur of Bay Minette, Alabama, with Attempted Murder in the shooting of 41-year old Jeffrey C. Kimbrough of Pensacola.

4:18 p.m.
The Escambia County Florida Sheriff's Office says a man is in critical condition after he was shot in the face.

Deputies say the shooting happened in the 1500 block of Gulf Beach Highway, near Pensacola.

According to Deputies, it appears that the gunshots erupted over a wallet that was stolen a week ago. A family member of the theft victim approached a man regarding the wallet. That's when witnesses say the man pulled out a handgun and shot the other man in the face.

They say the shooting suspect was last seen leaving the area in a green vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. No names have been released at this time.
