Home Depot Employee Arrested For Helping Himself

A Home Depot slogan says "You can do it. We can help." But Mobile police say an employee helped himself to $40,000 worth of merchandise.

Mobile police have arrested a Home Depot employee for stealing $40,000 worth of merchandise from the home improvement store.

According to police, Paul Gwin stole $40,000 worth of merchandise from the store on Schillinger Road over the period of a year. Police found some of the merchandise at Gwin's home and returned it to Home Depot.

Gwin is charged with Theft of Property First Degree.
