Mobile Police Chief Phillip Garrett:

“He was a good police officer, I helped recruit him, I'm very proud of that. He left us way too soon
I'm very touched by the number of people that were flag waving, hands over their hearts that says a lot about a man, a lot about a 26-year-old man.”

Mobile Police Captain John Barber:

“He died doing his job, he died trying to protect and serve we do that every day and we realize that is a chance that could happen, unfortunately, this young officer lost his life abruptly.”

Mobile Police Captain Phillip McCrary:

“We want to honor them for the commitment they've served the community, to the city you know even the station that Brandon served he was a big part of that he was a big part of our family he was a great officer and a great person and just to give him the honor, send him off to heaven the way he deserves.”
