Hurricane season is here and one Gulf Coast organization is already raising money to help when disaster strikes!
News 5 introduced you to the group, Eye of the Storm Relief, last year. The group worked to raise money and collect items for the victms of Hurricanes Ike and Gustav. They delivered truckloads of relief supplies to areas of Louisiana and Texas.
This weekend the group is again raising money with their first Ride for Relief.
The motorcycle ride starts at the Hooter's Restaurant in Tillman's Corner tomorrow. Registration starts at 11:00am. The ride starts at 1:30pm. The cost is just $25 per bike and $5 for a passenger. The ride ends at the Bluegill Restaurant on the Causeway. But you don't have to have a motorcycle to get in on the fun!
You can bring the whole family out to the Bluegill Restaurant for a concert and silent auction. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted at the door.
