Sandra Hocutt, the Mobile woman accused of killing her husband and then burying him in the couple's backyard, pleaded not guilty to murder charges Tuesday in court.
Hocutt turned herself in May 19th and then showed police where the body was buried, according to District Attorney John Tyson. Mobile police, the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences and a crew of forensic anthropologists from the University of West Florida spent most of the day excavating the remains of a male corpse believed to be Daniel Hocutt.
An autopsy showed Daniel Hocutt died of a gunshot wound to the stomach.
