15-year-old Kellie Beck's life came to a tragic end Monday, when Police say her friend accidentally shot her in the head. It happened on Hunter's Ridge Drive West in West Mobile. Mobile Police say Beck's friend was playing with a .357 magnum handgun when she pointed it at Beck's head and pulled the trigger. That 15-year-old is now charged with manslaughter, "manslaughter has as a component part a recklessness idea and it is that recklessness idea that is pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger that causes this to happen," said Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson Jr. The girl charged in the case was taken to Strickland Youth Center. Tyson says she has been released.
