Visitation for Byrd and Melanie Billings was held Thursday night at a Pensacola church.
Meantime, people who live near Pamela Long-Wiggins are closely watching the latest developments in the case.
Many people came to Liberty Church on Blue Angel Parkway throughout Thursday evening to pay their respects at visitation for the Billings couple.
Family members asked for a privacy, so a special area designated for the news media was set up in front of the church.
Plenty of recent attention about the crime has focused on Pamela Long-Wiggins, charged as an accessory after the fact to felony murder.
People who live near Long-Wiggins home on Ramblewood Lane in Gulf Breeze remember seeing police at the house where they were searching the home.
Sandy Vickrey lives across the street from Long-Wiggins home.
She said, "The only thing we really saw was the night that all the agents came and surrounded the house, and of course, we were surprised, very surprised at what's going on."
Another neighbor, Marty Hickman, said, "One of our neighbors called us and let us know what was going on and they told us that when they talked to one of the deputies, the deputy said the best thing you can do is just go back in your house, lock the door and stay put."
I knocked on the door of Long-Wiggins home Thursday evening, but no one answered.
Neighbors I spoke with said they didn't know much about her.
When asked if she knew Pamela Long-Wiggins, Vickrey said, "No. Really she kept to herself and we work fulltime so we really didn't see any activities going on at the house."
Another neighbor, Brooke Shepard, said she had never seen Long-Wiggins.
She said, "I just moved here not too long ago."
The funerals for Byrd and Melanie Billings will be held Friday morning at the Liberty Church on South Blue Angel Parkway.
The service begins at 11:00.
Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
