The home is on Rockaway Creed Drive in Atmore. Homeowner Carolyn Caraway says she hasn’t been able to afford to keep the home in good shape because of cancer treatment and a recent divorce. Some homeowners say they’ve been trying to get the city to do something about the property for more than a decade. If the demolition order goes through, the house will be torn down Monday.
