Counterfeit cash is circulating the Gulf Coast. At first glance, the $100 bills look like the real deal, but police say they're imposters. It's really a $5 bill with $100 markings. Police say at least 7 of the fakes have been passed in local businesses, "at this point in time, we don't have any suspects. We're following up on several leads, but, you know, we're asking the public for help," said Ocean Springs Police Lt. John Flowers. Police say because it's real money, it's hard to spot with the pens businesses use to detect counterfeit money. They recommend you hold the $100 bill up to a bright light and look for the $5 ID line. You can also see Lincoln's picture. If you have any information about this case, call Ocean Springs Police at (228) 875-2211.
