Police have arrested former Bayou La Batre Henry Barnes on arson charges.

Barnes is accused of trying to burn down his house on Downey Street during last week's evacuation that was ordered when a control burn got out of control.

Barnes told News 5 he set the fire to get rid of some fleas.

News 5's Tiffany Craig was there when Barnes was arrested. She'll have his reaction tonight on News 5 at 5:00 and 6:00.
