MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - AAA reports the statewide average price
for a gallon of regular has risen about 21 cents in the past month.
The statewide average for regular is $1.74 Monday.
The national average for regular is ten cents higher.
The statewide average for midgrade and premium fuels also rose
to $1.85 and $1.91, respectively.
AAA said Mobile and Huntsville each tied for the highest metro
average for regular at $1.76. It was cheapest in Montgomery at
$1.71 a gallon.
