A suspicious death in Foley has law enforcement officials in Baldwin County working overtime.
Foley police say Michael Saucier was found dead in his home by relatives. They say there were signs of head and neck trauma. So far, authorities can't say whether or not foul play was involved. Foley's police chief says they've called in help from the FBI, Daphne Police and other agencies. Family members declined to talk to News 5 on camera. Neighbors say the victim was a nice, quiet man.
“It was very surprising and also concern because I didn't know of anything like that happening in this neighborhood,” says John Woods, a man who says he knew the victim. Michael Saucier's body was taken to the Baldwin county medical examiner for an autopsy. Authorities say they're not sure how he died.
