Mobile Woman Duct-Taped, But Escapes Robbers

A Mobile woman tied with duct tape broke through the window of her apartment to escape two gunmen.
The crime happened Thursday night about 10:30 at the Clearview Apartments at 639 Azalea Road.
Mobile police aren't releasing the name of the victim, but Corporal Charles Bagsby said, "They (the robbers) were both armed with handguns. They demanded property from her (and) assaulted her."
The victim's next door neighbor, Clinton Douglas, rescued her.
He said the woman was taking a bath at the time.
Douglas said, "After a while, I heard like tussling and stuff going on in her apartment, so I went to go check on her. By the time I made it to the third step, she was coming through the window, naked, just coming out the window. Her whole face (was) duct taped, taped down like she couldn't breathe or see, her arms wrapped up, so I just snatched her. When two guys came out, I just snatched her and ran to my apartment with her."
Douglas said the woman had already suffered tragedy not long ago.
He said her mother died of brain cancer in November.
And as for what he did, Douglas said, "I don't consider myself a hero. I'm just a parent, because I got a little girl, too. What if my child was here? I'm just taking care of my neighborhood."
Police said both suspects fled the scene in a late 1980's model two-tone silver/gray square body Cadillac.
They have also named a "person of interest."
Police said he's 24 year old Ricardo Allen Davis, a black man they describe as having medium complexion, black hair, brown eyes, and tattoos on his neck.
They said his last known address was the Clearview Apartments.
Police said the other suspect is described as a black man, 5'6, thin-build, in his early twenties with brown eyes, black hair.
They said he was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and black Nike Shoes.
