We all know stress can make us sick. What if you could lower your stress just by changing your perspective?
Researchers at Emory University are proving it's possible as long as you have compassion.
"it's actively reshaping our relationships with others, so how we feel about others, how we relate to others," said study director Dr. Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi.
Researchers recently proved the impact in a study that compared groups of college students who practiced compassion meditation -in and out of class - and those who didn't. then participants went through stress tests to measure levels of inflammation.
"There was a very, very strong correlation between how much the kids practiced and how low the inflammation went," said study co-director Dr. Charles Raison.
