The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has called off the search for 43-year-old Laurie Kimbell. Investigators say she left the country under her own volition.

The Sheriff's Office put out a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for Kimbell on Wednesday. No one had heard from her since she talked to her father Friday morning.

Kimbell's father got worried when he couldn't reach his daughter all weekend. He drove from Arkansas to Destin on Monday. He called the Sheriff's Office after finding her car in the parking lot, her apartment unlocked and her purse inside.

Investigators received more than 40 tips after asking for the public's help. They have determined Kimbell left the country on Saturday. The Sheriff's Office did not say why Kimbell left, but they no longer believe she's in danger or consider her missing.
