Marcus Schrenker now in the Escambia County Jail.

The pilot who, according to authorities, abandoned his plane in flight, after sending a false distress call, has been returned to custody in Escambia County, Florida and is being held in the County jail, awaiting an appearance in court next week. Schrenker's pilotless plane crashed in Milton near several homes, a few miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Schrenker was later arrested in Quincy, Florida, treated for an injury to his wrist, and is now back in jail awaiting his day in court.
