High Speed Crash: Teen Apologizes

An Eight Mile teenager could face jail time for a crash that killed two people.
Sixteen year old Alexandria Martin stood before a judge for her sentencing today.

Investigators say Martin lost control of her car last June while driving over 100 miles per hour along Prine Road in Citronelle.
Two of her passengers 9 year old Devon Neel and 20 year old Latosha Hudson were killed in the crash.
Judge Michael Youngpeter decided to postpone the sentencing until later this month.
Assistant District Attorney Ashley Rich says the judge is having a difficult time with the case because of Martin's youthful offender status.
The teen apologized to the victim's family but they tell us they're not ready to accept it.
"The whole whipping around I'm sorry to all the families I see that in movies, I just don't think I can accept it right now,"Said Rebecca Zapata, Devon Neel's Mother.
Judge Youngpeter postponed Martin's sentencing until January 27th. The Eight Mile teen faces up to three years in jail.
