Former USA Coach Busted For Stealing Artificial Turf

Campus police say they caught Ron Pelletier stealing artificial turf that had been donated by an arena football team when it disbanded.

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A former assistant baseball coach at the
University of South Alabama faces a theft charge after campus
police charged with him with stealing artificial turf.
Ron Pelletier booked into Metro Jail Thursday afternoon. Police
said he was charged with first-degree theft.
Pelletier, a former baseball star at the school, allegedly took
sections of artificial grass that had been donated by an arena
football team when it disbanded.
He was released on $7,500 bond.
