Judge Picked To Hear Whetstone DUI Case

Former Baldwin County District Attorney David Whetstone will be in court in February for his charge of drinking and driving.

Monday night, the Summerdale City Council appointed a judge and prosecutor to handle the DUI case against David Whetstone. Whetstone is the former District Attorney of Baldwin County.
He was pulled over in Summerdale back in December.
The judge and prosecutor who would have heard the case, recused themselves.
Judge Buddy Brackin of Foley and prosecutor Richard Jensen also of Foley will handle the case. It is set for February 2 at 2:00 p.m. It will be held at the Summerdale Community Center.
